PlaylistMap vs SubmitHub
PlaylistMap is a Spotify playlist-pitching database and curator-contact tool: it tracks 70,365 playlists from 37,048 curator records (counted live), and you email curators yourself. SubmitHub is a submission service: you spend credits per curator, SubmitHub delivers the track, and the curator answers inside SubmitHub. The two models fit different artists.
- Pick PlaylistMap if you want the curator's contact details and a drafted pitch you send yourself, and you plan to pitch again on the next release. Start with 3 free unlocks.
- Pick SubmitHub if you want a response promise on premium submissions (72 hours, a 60-second listen, written feedback on a decline) and don't need the curator's contact afterwards.
- Either way, no tool can promise a placement. Curators decide.

Three rules that decide it
1. Premium or standard credits
- SubmitHub's response promise only exists on premium credits: 72 hours, a real listen, 20+ words on a decline, or the credit comes back.
- Standard credits are free (two every four hours) but only curators who opt in accept them, and nothing is promised.
- PlaylistMap has no credit tiers and no promise: you are emailing an independent curator, and you keep their contact.
2. The AI gate
- SubmitHub won't deliver tracks its detector rates 85% or more likely-AI, or tracks declared fully AI; hybrid tracks below that line are allowed, and curators can opt out of AI submissions.
- PlaylistMap doesn't screen your track; the curator decides when they hear it.
3. One release or many
- On SubmitHub every track is a new set of credits; the relationship ends with the review unless the curator opens a chat.
- On PlaylistMap the contact you unlock stays yours, so pitching the same curators on your next single costs nothing extra, and one unlock covers every playlist that curator runs.
When PlaylistMap fits better
- You release regularly and want curator relationships that outlive one submission.
- You'd rather see the playlist first (followers, freshness, an integrity score) than pay per delivery.
- You want each pitch drafted for you, in English or Spanish.

Questions
Is SubmitHub cheaper than PlaylistMap?
It depends on how many curators you reach and how often. SubmitHub premium credits start at $1 each; SubmitHub reports that most users pay about $0.80 a credit in bulk, and each curator costs 1 to 5 credits. PlaylistMap starts free with 3 contact unlocks, then $9.99 a month for 20 unlocks or $19.99 for 100; one unlock covers every playlist that curator runs, and the contact stays with you for later releases.
Do I get the curator's email on SubmitHub?
No. SubmitHub delivers your track and the curator answers inside SubmitHub; you can reply to feedback only when the curator enables chat. On PlaylistMap you unlock the contact details curators post publicly and email them yourself.
What does a SubmitHub premium credit guarantee?
That the curator responds within 72 hours, listens for at least 60 seconds, and writes 20 or more words if they decline; if those rules aren't met, the credit is returned. Standard (free) credits carry no such promise and are accepted only by curators who opt in. PlaylistMap makes no response promise: curators are independent, and some won't reply.
Which one has more curators?
They count different things. SubmitHub says it has 1,700+ quality-checked playlisters, bloggers and influencers, plus radio. PlaylistMap tracks 70,365 Spotify playlists from 37,048 curator records, and 80% of those records include an email address.
Can either tool guarantee a playlist placement?
No. Curators are independent and decide what they add. Spotify says services that claim to offer guaranteed playlist placement for money violate its terms, and they shouldn't be used.
Can I use both?
Nothing stops you. They solve different problems: SubmitHub premium submissions include a response promise (standard ones don't), PlaylistMap sells the contact so you can pitch directly, now and next time.
