Is PlaylistMap legit?

Yes. PlaylistMap is a software tool run by PlaylistMap LLC since 2021. It gives independent artists contact details for Spotify playlist curators and helps write the pitch. It doesn't sell placements, streams or followers, and it can't promise that a curator will add your song.

What you get

  • Contacts for independent Spotify playlist curators. Every playlist in the catalog has one, and 80% include an email address.
  • Matching: paste your song and see which playlists fit it, before you sign up.
  • A drafted pitch for each curator, ready to send from your own Gmail.
  • A free bot checker for any public Spotify playlist.

What PlaylistMap isn't

  • It isn't a placement or promotion service. We don't sell streams, followers or playlist adds.
  • It isn't part of Spotify, and Spotify doesn't endorse it.
  • It isn't the app that puts playlists on a map. PlaylistMap is at playlistmap.com.

Paying and cancelling

  • The free plan needs no card. Paid plans are $9.99 or $19.99 a month, or $89.99 or $179.99 a year. Payments go through Stripe.
  • You can cancel anytime from your account. We don't refund past payments (see the Terms).
  • If a contact you unlocked turns out to be stale, we return the credits (see how our data works).

Questions

A curator asked me for money. Is that PlaylistMap?

No. Curators are independent, and PlaylistMap doesn't take a cut of anything. Spotify says services that claim to offer guaranteed playlist placement for money violate its terms, and they shouldn't be used. Tell us with Send Feedback on the playlist page, or email support@playlistmap.com, and we'll review the listing.

Will curators reply to me?

Some will, many won't. Replies depend on how well your song fits the playlist and on your pitch. PlaylistMap helps with both, but nobody can promise a reply or a placement.

Where do the contacts come from?

From contact details curators post publicly, for example in their playlist descriptions. Contacts are only shown to members who unlock them, and curators can ask us to update or remove their listing.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. The free plan gives you 3 contact unlocks, and you can see which playlists fit your song before you sign up. No card needed.
